Arctic Lake is the new London pop trio to follow, consisting of a young woman (Emma Foster at the voice) and two young men (Paul Holliman on guitar and Andy Richmond on drums). It’s after How Long Can You Stare, that the band unveils its brand new Limits title, displaying its influences and colors.

Arctic Lake surprises us through this title, using few instruments. The electric guitar takes its place from the beginning of the track, with a touch of finesse and lightness, to put in place the cloudy aspect of the title. This sound mixes slowly with the slow percussion and striking, which adds a semblance of fluidity and will vibrate your hearing.

This is a unique experience that the band offers us with this bi-instrumental track, which gives the opportunity to listen to a fine and neat sound. We find ourselves in a calm and pleasant atmosphere, thanks to this inspiring melody which is of a rather rare beauty.

The female voice present contributes a lot. While remaining in the softness, this one brings a purified sonority. As the track progresses, it brings intensity without the need to perform a vocal performance in strength and power. The simplicity of this voice makes the track even more soothing than it already was.
